ive been mighty positive about X1 too since it was announced. a couple drawbacks aside i love what i see, surprised i havent lost bubbles over it lol def had sooooooo many disagrees though

no, unless your playing on two different machines. if you live together and play on the same console then you both can play it drm free and disc-less after its installed. only time the drm comes into play and you need your account would be if you were on a different machine like say at your friends house or gfs house if you dont live together which then yes, she would have to pay the used fee.

1. yes E3 will make or break them for the core gamer. I keep saying wait for E3 and thats what im doing. i enjoy all the features shown off and so long as i can see a commitment to games as well, im very happy, im not opposed to a 50/50 split for multimedia and gaming. my time is limited anyway so 2-3 quality games a year from ms first party will be enough for me

they should have made the 360 controller split in half for kinect games. similar to a wii mote but it could also be stuck back together to form the traditional controller. that would do away with a lot of the limitations of kinect as it would allow full body movement and the precision of walking with the sticks and what not.
